The Hubble Space Telescope has captured the rainbow-hued 'fireworks' of an old supernova whose dying light first reached Earth some 320 years ago, scientists said on July 3, 2002. The new image shows red, white, blue, pink and green gas streamers issuing from Cassiopeia A, the remnants of a massive star in the constellation Cassiopeia, named for an Ethiopian queen. The colors highlight parts of the debris where chemical elements are glowing. ( NASA and Hubble Heritage Team/Reuters)
